K-911

Did you know I have a credit on the internet movie database?  No kidding!

In the summer and fall of 2009 I worked as a staff writer on the web-series, K-911: The Series.  It turns out my love for NYPD Blue and other police procedural dramas gave me a leg-up in scripting some of the technical scenes between lead characters Johnny Brett, Diego and Chief Crockett.  I guess my work really impressed the show’s creator and executive producer, Neil Daly, because he promoted me to co-producer for the second season, currently in production.

What’s more, Daly cast me in a minor but significant role toward the end of the series.  I got to play Mr. Philly, the role originally slotted for Marlon Brando, who had to drop out at the last minute because of his death five years earlier.  Now, I’m not so arrogant to presume I did a better job than Brando in his prime would have, but I think I my performance holds up against any acting he’s done since his death and probably better than Don Juan DeMarco.

Pshtt... I could have been a contender, too!
